Scope and Contents

Bound volume of histories and genealogies of the Grover family and a biography of Thomas Grover (1807-1886). The work includes charts, maps, genealogies, and photographs with the text. Thomas Grover joined the Mormon Church in 1834 and later emigrated to Utah and then to Idaho. The volume was compiled by Stephen E. Grover and Dean R. Grover.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of typescripts of biographies and histories of members of the Hammond family and their ancestors. The biography of Jasper Melvin Hammond (1882-1958) was written "by his wife and daughters" sometime after his death. Jasper, often called Jesse, was born in Providence, Utah but was raised in Marysville, Idaho.
