Wives of Brigham Young
Typewritten list. The item presents a list of 59 women known to have been married to the second president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brigham Young. The list was compiled "From Temple Work Sheets in L.D.S. gen. Soc. Archives." The item also includes biographical data on each wife.
Wolf family temple record book, 1893-1931
Photocopy of a mirofilm copy of a temple record book. The materials present names of persons and the dates certain ordinances were perfomed for these people in temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Some of the entries were hand written, while others were typed.
Walter M. Wolfe diary and congressional testimony
Collection contains transcriptions pertaining to the life of Walter M. Wolfe. Material includes a transcription of his diary about life in Mexico as a missionary and explorer dated 1900 to 1901. It also includes copies of the congressional transcript of Wolfe's testimony from the Reed Smoot United States Senate hearing in 1906. Dated 1900-1906.
Thomas Wood letter
Handwritten and signed letter dated 28 Jan. 1832 and addressed to "Mr. James Sackett" in Syracuse, New York. The item was postmarked in Auburn, New York. Wood writes about religious revivals in the area. "There is a great revival at this time commencing in this place. Mary wants you to send her a large Bible, if you have got more than you have in use and have one to spare."
Wilford Woodruff diary excerpt
Photocopy of a handwritten diary excerpt that includes a copy of an unattributed vision or a dream which Woodruff had obtained. The vision claimed to foresee of the last days in which a great loss of life and a great destruction would befall the the cities of the eastern United States. Photocopy includes entries from June 14 to 22, 1878.
