A typed note from the Blackbird Copper-Gold Mining Company, Salt Lake City, Utah, promising to pay John E. Du Bois $1,500. It is signed by the treasurer, Charles J. North, and company president P. A. H. Franklin, and dated October 15, 1900. Includes a fifty cent and twenty-five cent stamp.
Lilburn W. Boggs papers
Two signed items, one a promissory note made out to William Smith, agent for the Steam Mill Company, dated August 20, 1817. The other a transfer of title dated June 18, 1820, turning over ownership of two lots in Independence, Missouri, to Joseph Philipson.

Photocopies of a handwritten and signed "testimony" and a handwritten and signed financial note. The testimony describes a transaction of money for certain lots owned by Boggs. The note is a promise by Boggs to pay William Smith a sum of money.

Several of the items are French translations of the original English documents. Members of the Choteau family mentioned in the items are Auguste, Pierre, Henry, and Gabriel S.
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints promissory note
Photocopy of a handwritten note. The item was issued by the Nauvoo Committee and signed by Almon W. Babbitt, Joseph Leland Hewywood, and John S. Fullmer. The Mormon Church promises payment of $403.94 to Amos Davis.
Jacques Clamorgan legal papers
Eight handwritten and signed legal documents. Included are complaints, judgments, summonses, bonds, declarations, and financial notes from various court cases in which Clamorgan was involved. Most of these cases involved disputes over land ownership and payments of money.
Thomas Green promissory note
Handwritten and signed financial note dated June 6, 1860. Green promises to pay George Q. Cannon $76.80 for "4 hand cart shares" and $58.41 for provisions after he arrives in Salt Lake City.
