He later served as a branch president for the Mormon Church in England. He writes about his migration to Utah by way of New Orleans, Louisiana, and St. Louis, Missouri. Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. William Julian was born in 1795 in England. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah. Jane Spencer was born in 1798 in England and also joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah. They settled in American Fork. She died in 1873 and he died in 1888.

Biography : Margaret C. Kirkwood

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Margaret Campbell Kirkwood was born in 1810 in Scotland. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah with the Willie handcart company. The biography is mainly an account of Margaret's ordeal on the trek to Utah. Margaret lost the use of one eye because it was frozen. She died in 1893.

Leroy Laurits Larsen missionary diary

Scope and Contents

Handwritten diary kept during his service as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Norway. Tells of his everyday life, missionary work, and transfers. Back of the diary includes a hand copy of a letter written by Leroy's father, N. S. Larsen, detailing his migration from Denmark to Salt Lake City, Utah, with the latter's brother, Hans.

Biographies of Peter Madsen

Scope and Contents

Typewritten biographies of Peter Madsen written by some of his descendants. Madsen was the bishop of the Lake View Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lake View, Utah, for thirty years. He migrated to Utah, was a prominent fisherman on Utah Lake, and went on missions for the Church to Hawaii and to Denmark.

John McNeill autobiography

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten autobiography. John McNeill was born in 1827 in Scotland. He joined the Mormon Church and migrated to the United States. His first wife died of cholera. He later came to Utah and settled in American Fork. He died in 1902.

Short life sketch of Catherine Ingreberg Neilson Olsen

Scope and Contents Photocopy of microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Catherine Ingreberg Neilson was born in 1829 in Denmark. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1853 and married Hans Peter Olsen in 1854. She migrated to the United States in the same year and arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah, in October 1854. Catherine later moved to American Fork, Utah, and later to Carson Valley, Nevada. She later returned to American Fork and died in 1915. Also included are two poems...
