Holograph entries. The diaries describe a Latter-day Saint Church mission to Hawaii with a record of ordinations, blessings, baptisms, experiences, and a list of letters sent and received. Upon return to Davis County, Utah, Moss describes his daily life and sales work in a store. Entries written 5-6 times weekly.
