Scope and Contents Handwritten genealogies, biographical sketches, historical accounts, patriarchal blessings, temple work sheets, and family photographs of the Snyder family of Germany and Roxborough, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. The patriarchal blessings were given to family members that joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The lists of temple work done for dead family members were also produced by the those who joined the LDS Church.

The date of the composition of the item is uncertain. Solomon writes about joining the Mormon Church, migrating to Utah, serving on a mission to the Indians of Arizona, meeting John D. Lee, and moving to Kanab, Utah.

Scope and Contents Handwritten autobiography with a photocopy of the item. The volume includes handwritten copies of letters received and patriarchal blessings of family members. Spilsbury writes about travelling in southern Utah as a patriarch, gives a brief description of his mission to Wales, talks about some of the prophecies of the first president of the LDS Church, Joseph Smith (1805-1844), and describes the exodus west of Mormons from Nauvoo, Illinois to Utah. Dated from 1843 to 1911.

Cynthia lived in Ogden, Utah; describes activities during the Utah War of 1857 to 1858; writes of her life as a polygamous wife; and relates her move to Juarez, Mexico, in 1892. Also included is a patriarchal blessing.
