Truman Osborn Angell autobiography

Photocopy of a typewritten autobiograpy. The item includes excerpts from Angell's diary. Angel converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and supervised a portion of the construction of the Kirtland Temple. He relates faith-promoting stories related to the Kirtland and Nauvoo temples. Also included are patriarchal blessings.

James I. Steel autobiography and family records

Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography with family records apparently also copied by Steel. James Steel converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England and migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1854. He later settled in Tooele County, Utah. Steel entered into polygamy in 1874. Also included are ordinations and patriarchal blessings of family members. Steel also writes about his visions and dreams.
