Sarah Lynn Robertson interview with Reed Higgins
Typescript of an interview conducted by Sarah Lynn Robertson from the included sound tapes. Higgins tells about his training in Hawaii and Texas. He also talks about his deployment to the Philippines. He spent some time on Okinawa and Japan. Higgins also relates his impressions when he returned home.

The autobiography is an attempt by Stringfellow to correct the stories about his war experiences and about his various activities after he realized he had lied.

Typed autobiography. Thomas served in Hawaii where she met her husband, Thayne L. Thomas. They married on 15 May 1947. She writes about her training and her service. Also included are letters she wrote in 1945.

Jacobsen writes about being held in captivity by the Japanese for three and one-half years in the Philippines and Japan during World War II. Comments on the strength that he derived from his belief in the Mormon Church and in his family.

Gail E. Waller interview
Transcript of an interview conducted by Kelly J. Drake on 6 Aug. 1985 for the Ray Hillam military history project. Drake was in the United States Marine Corps starting in 1936 and later went into the United States Army in 1940. He served in North Africa for nine months and served in Sicily in 1943 with the ordinance section of the Seventh Army. He was later deployed to Germany in 1945 and met Russian troops on the Elbe River. Drake was sent home in July of 1945.
Ellen Poelman Warner autobiography
Typed autobiography. Warner graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1942 and began classes at the University of Utah that year. She graduated in 1946. She married Don Warner in 1959.
