Welsh emigrant letters to places in England
Photocopies of three handwritten letters from Welsh emigrants, two of which endorse service received at sea. In the other letter the emigrant describes conditions in his land of adoption, Australia.
Charles Edmund West newsclippings
Two photocopies of newsclippings, handwritten genealogy notes on the back of an envelope (with photocopy), and Dr. West's handwritten story about Brigham Young on note paper. The clippings represent a tribute and an obituary.
Charles Edmund West notebooks and letters
Two notebooks and five incoming letters. Four of the letters are from companies trying to sell Dr. West various medicines. One notebook contains magazine clippings on religious topics. The other notebook contains holograph notes on various issues relating to the Bible.
West family papers
Contains the family papers of the West family, including a history of Joseph Anderson West and journals of Lois Hunt West. Dated 1934-2007.
Royal West letter
Handwritten and signed letter dated 12 July 1838 and addressed to Rev. Milton Badger of New York City. The letter was written in Walworth, New York. West writes about his congregation of some forty women and children and complains that he has no meeting house and inadequate funds. The item was postamarked in Palmyra, New York, a neighboring community.

Eliza Westover letter
Photocopy of a handwritten letter with a typescript of the item. Westover writes to "Lew" in response to his questions about the first president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joseph Smith (1805-1844). She outlines her life and tells of her conversion to the LDS Church, her life in Nauvoo, Illinois, the death of Joseph Smith, and her migration to Utah.
