Letter dated 13 Feb. 1891 and addressed to a Mr. Parkins Ouray, Colorado. Belken is in Salt Lake City, Utah, looking for work, but the "money market" is tight and "the town is full of people hunting employment and failing to find it." Belken also asks Parkins for some money, so he can return to Ouray.

Handwritten letter from a clergyman of Beloit, Wisconsin to a Mrs. Boggs. The item contains reminiscences and personal experiences of the author as well as detailed physical and social descriptions of Beloit, Wisconsin, the authors new home. The author also describes the development of his church in Beloit as well as his plans to influence local politics and society.

Scope and Contents Twelve letters written between Charles and his half-sister Alice. Also contains one letter from Maria Josephine Hill Searle to Sarah Julia Hill Bement, Alice's mother. Most of the letters are written by Charles in Kanosh, Utah, and sent to Alice in Salt Lake. However, two of the letters were written by Charles while he was on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Illinois.
