Biography : Mary Ann Able Bourne

Her families were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they migrated to Utah in 1863, and arrived on 8 Oct. She married Elijah Bourne in 1871, and she lived in American Fork, Utah. She died in 1931.

She lived in a number of towns in Utah and finally settled in Bountiful. The biography talks about her experiences with Indians.

She married John Chadwick in 1881. Her young son, Clarence died on 22 Jan. 1890. She rocked him all night long while he cried, "Oh, Ma, Please don't let me die, I don't want to die." She died in 1928.
