Joseph Stevens Jones diary
Photocopies of a handwritten diary kept from 19 Feb. to 20 April 1853 while Jones was on board the "International" ship. Jones writes about Mormon Church activities during the crossing of the Atalantic from Liverpool to New Orleans, Louisiana.
Lewis B. Rock diary
Contains a handwritten diary (92 pages) belonging to Lewis Rock. Rock writes about his voyage by ship from Boston to San Francisco and his subsequent experiences in the gold fields of California in 1850. Includes articles for the establishment of the Self Examining Society. Dated 1849 to 1852.
