Photocopies of handwritten and typed copies of correspondence. Butterfield writes to his mother and other family members. Butterfield writes about his missionary work for the Mormon Church in Missouri; his association and employment with Joseph Smith, the first president of the Mormon Church; and his life in Missouri, Illinois, and Missouri. Thomas Callister diary

Typescript of a diary kept from October 5-25, 1875 when Callister was called on a mission to Europe for the Mormon Church. He writes about his preparations to leave his home in Fillmore, Utah. Also included is a typed copy of a funeral address given by Chief Kanosh of the Pahvant Utes when Callister died in 1880.
