Encapsulated letter with photocopy and typescript: Perkins was a resident of Lorain County, Ohio. Collection includes an ALS from Amherst, Ohio to Jacob Perkins, Orwell, Rutland County, Vermont. Mentions Mormon missionary efforts in the area and anti-Mormon activities of Ezra Booth. Also mentions missionary efforts of Jared Carter, whom Perkins knew in his home area of Rutland County.
