Two holograph volumes in three parts with accompanying carbon and ribbon copy typescripts; typescript and draft of typescript of 1881-1882 diary. Describes his early life in England, missionary work for the Mormon Church in England, his immigration to Utah and accounts of ship passage, overland travel to Salt Lake City, Utah and settlement and life in Sanpete County, Utah. The 1881-82 diary deals with a mission to England. Also includes patriarchal blessings.

Pectol tells of his conversion to the Mormon faith, the emigration of his family by wagon to Utah, and early settlement in Manti, Utah. The accounts often sermonize about the veracity of the Mormon Church and comment on its history. Typewritten biographical sketches (photocopies) of Snow and his wife, Mary Ann V. Snow; ALS's (with typed transcripts) to his fourth polygamous wife, Sarah E.W. Snow, with a few to their children; a certificate of election, a deed, and a family group sheet (photocopies). Letters contain information pertaining to relations with his plural family, his missionary experiences in England, and the building of the Manti, Utah Temple. Includes cover letter by donor.
