Moses Thatcher letter
One typewritten letter written on Thatcher Brothers Banking Company stationary. The item contains information concerning various business transactions.
Though he slay me : the story of Richard Ballantyne
Typewritten manuscript with corrections. Sonne portrays Richard Ballantyne as a modest and taciturn Scotsman who converted to the Mormon religion and migrated to the United States. He distinguished himself as a Mormon pioneer, settler, and missionary. Richard met Joseph Smith (1805-1844), the Mormon prophet, in Nauvoo, Illinois and later moved to Utah. He also served a mission for the Mormon Church in India. The manuscript was later published under the title: "Knight of the Kingdom."
Deseret Sunday School Union letter
Typewritten letter dated 10 March 1893 to be sent to all the Superintendents of Sunday Schools. The item explains that the Sunday School hopes to make money from the proceeds of a concert to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah on 6 April 1893.

Typewritten autobiography. Epperson writes about his life and career as a teacher and as a musician. He played the violin and composed music. He was raised in Midway, Utah but later live in Provo, Utah. Also included are mimeographed copies of songs written by him.

Handwritten letters addressed to Samuel Russell, a Mormon in Salt Lake City, Utah. Vaughan writes of personal matters and issues relating to the Mormon Church.

Photocopies of a handwritten diary by Welcker for 1868. Welckert talks about his daily experiences.
James Whittaker diaries
Photocopies of handwritten diaries, newspaper clippings, and a biography. Some of the diaries were kept in the pitman form of shorthand. Whittaker made two journeys from England to the United States, once in 1842 and again in 1851. He kept diaries of these trips and of crossing the continent to Utah in 1851. Also included is a biography of Whittaker by Charlotte Chatterly Perkins Jones.
