Partridge writes about his mission to Hawaii from 1854 to 1858 and from 1882 to 1885 for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, incidents during the Utah War, and settling in Farmington and in Fillmore, Utah. He also writes about his work as a probate judge, as a Mormon bishop and stake president, and as a politician.
