Contains the missionary diary of John Francis Howells, who served in the British Mission from 1892-1894. He served primarily in Liverpool and Macclesfield, England; and, Cardiff, Aberdare, and Cwnbran, Wales. This diary is from 1893.

Handwritten diary by Thomas Howells largely detailing his personal and spiritual experiences on his Mormon mission in South Wales from May 1870 to August 1871. The diary also includes a biographical sketch of Howells before his mission, and ends with records of births, deaths, blessings, and other geneological information of his family, dating up to 1880. Dated approximately 1870-1880.

Contains biographies for Lewis William Barry Wride, 1862-1934 and Harriet Stark Wride, 1868-1944; Alma Baker, 1877-1950 and Hannah McKinley Baker, 1870-1946; and Daniel Stark, 1820-1907. The collection also consists of Philip J. Hart's autobiography, his personal journals 1932-1999; scrapbooks, photographs, and materials relating to Hart's career.
