He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah by handcart. He later settled in American Fork, Utah. Timpson also writes about members of Johnson's family whom she can remember.

She came to Utah in 1850, married John McNeill in 1852, and settled in American Fork. She left her husband when he took a second wife. She died in 1899.
Biographies of Francis Young Morse and Elizabeth Thomas
This item was photocopied from a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Elizabeth Thomas was born in England in 1830 and Francis Young Morse was born in 1834 in Massachusetts. They joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and were married about 1859. They came to Utah in that same year and went to St. George, Utah, in 1861. Francis died in 1912 and Elizabeth died four days later in the same year.
Biography : Stephen Mott
Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Stephen Mott was born in 1822 in Canada. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Nauvoo, Illinois. He later came to Utah in 1850. He was a farmer and a stock raiser. He had two wives and no children, but he helped raise three children of other couples. He died in 1906.
