Washington (D.C.) -- History -- Sources
Found in 2 Collections and/or Records:
District of Columbia legal documents
Handwritten and signed legal documents. One is a receipt dated 17 January 1814 for a bond payment of $500. The other is a testimony by a court clerk that William Crauch is a Justice of the Washington, D.C. circuit court.
Priscilla's diary
Handwritten diary with many gaps. The diary was "sent to Priscilla in Washington, D.C., by Grace and Will--Christmas 1932." Priscilla writes about her daily activities and those of "Frank." She apparently was a Mormon and often tells about her church-related activities. Neither Priscilla nor Frank have been further identified.
