These include an unsent letter written by Elisha expressing his affection for one "Florence," a typed statement expressing his resolution not to court Zella Hays for three months in an effort to overcome his feelings for her, and noting his mother's disdain for those feelings, and two papers concerning camping. Materials date between 1891 and 1936.
