This collection contains material from the life of Edward Hunter Snow and covers the years 1878-1932. These materials are in addition to other materials previously acquired by BYU.
Erastus Fairbanks Snow correspondence and an autobiography
Handwritten correspondnece with photocopies and an autbiography. The materials include correspondence between Snow and his family, 1847-1887, a report on the possibilities of Mormons settling in the Gila River Valley of Arizona and in Mexico, and an autobiography dictated to Snow's son, Franklin Snow. In the autobiography Erastus Snow tells about his work in the settling of St. George, Utah.

Photocopies of handwritten diaries from about 1836 to 1857, a notebook from 1848, correspondence from 1847 to 1888, financial papers from 1855 to 1883, miscellaneous items from 1840 to 1879, and copy of a revelation given in 1836 which is now found in Doctrine and Covenants, Sec. 111. The materials relate to Snow's finances and activities.
