The stereographs are on orange, pink, and mostly yellow backing, and are part of a series called "Views of the Wonderland or Yellowstone Park," which consists of at least 148 stereographs.

The lower falls is a sepia stereograph that is part of a series called "The Enchanted Land, or Wonders of the Yellowstone National Park." The Tower Falls is either sepia or black and white and is part of a series called "Views of the Wonder Land, or Yellowstone National Park."

It is from the "Indians of the Colorado Valley" series entitled "The Mirror Case." It was printed for the U.S. Topographical and Geological Survey of the Colorado River of the West by J.W. Powell and A.H. Thompson.
