Life and educational contributions of James Edward Talmage
Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten master's thesis. The item is "a thesis submitted to the faculty of the University of Utah in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science Department of Educational Administration, University of Utah June, 1958." The thesis is a biography of the educator and scholar, James Edward Talmage. Talmage was also a general authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Most of the letters (over 50 items) were written by Tanner to his girl friend, May McLoughlin, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tanner writes to "Miss McLoughlin" about his missionary activities and about personal matters. They were later married.q
