The album contains photographs, primarily cabinet cards, produced via a variety of methods, but most are collodion printing out prints. The photographs depict residents of Chester, Utah. There is also a newspaper clipping tucked in the back cover. Dated approximately 1880-1939.

Scope and Contents Collection comes from the papers of Ida Smoot Dusenberry and is composed of photographs relating to the life of Ida Smoot Dusenberry, including family portraits taken in Utah, photos from travel in Italy while serving as a delegate at the International Council of Women, photos from students at Brigham Young University, and miscellaneous photos. Many are gelatin silver prints, but the collection also includes possibly selenium toned silver gelatin prints, glycerine, sulfur toned developing...
