Scope and Contents note Report by Kenneth R. Gale, who collected information from his aunt, Jennie Noel Weeks. Story recounts how Edna Coray, discouraged and ill, is offered the opportunity of dying, but also shown what she will leave behind on earth. She opts not to go yet. On another occasion, invisible help makes a decrepit reed organ sound good for a funeral, including briefly playing when she is not touching the keys.

She has received permission to live for two more hours to rectify a mistake prompted by discouragement.

Scope and Contents note Report by G. Richard Smack, who collected information from Mildred O. Larsen, who heard it from her grandmother, who claimed to be the woman in the story. The story has an early 1900s setting. In the story a woman has her husband called away to help a neighbor. Increasingly uneasy about his long absence, she finally screams for him to turn around. Her scream causes him to notice an attacker with a knife, who flees.
