Discusses various spiritual experiences and combat near Bastogne, Belgium. Describes mortar attacks and his struggle with frozen feet and occupation of Austria. Includes photographs of Mecham both in the war and a more recent photo. Dated before 2000.

Virginia Armstrong autobiography
Typed autobiography. Armstrong joined the Army Nurse Corps in April of 1941. She served in Barnes General Hospital in Vancouver, Washington. She later went to Fitzsimmons General Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She was discharged honorably in July 1942.
Lola Prestwich Lamoreaux autobiography
Typewritten autobiography. Lamoreaux attended the Dr. W. H. Grove Latter Day Saint Hospital School of Nursing in Salt Lake City, Utah, and joined the U.S. Army on 1 Dec. 1944. She writes about her training and various assignments in the army. She married Donald C. Lamaroeaux in 1948.
