Scope and Contents Diary and autobiography. The autobiography has a number of missing sections but basically covers the time his ancestors joined the Mormon Church to 1917 when he began his diary. The journal covers the years 1917-1936. Cummings served as Superintendent of Church schools for the Mormon Church and travelled widely on that and other assignments. Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Loveless writes about the live of George Cunningham. Cunningham was born in 1840 in England an later joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with his parents. He migrated to Utah in 1856 with the James Willie handcart company. Joseph Curtis diaries

Scope and Contents

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of handwritten diaries. Curtis also writes about his early life. He was born in Pennsylvania and joined the Mormon Church in 1833. He lived in Missouri and told about the persecution of Mormons there. He later lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, and served on two missions at that time. He came to Utah in 1848 and later settled in Utah Valley, Utah. Curtis was involved in numerous activities including defending Utah from the Utah Expedition in 1858.

Virginia F. Cutler autobiography and funeral recording and transcript

Abstract

This collection contains two items: her autobiography and funeral services tapes and transcription. The autobiography is photocopies of a typewritten autobiography with handwritten corrections in which Cutler writes about her early life, her education, her teaching career, her travels, and her other activities. The funeral tapes are two cassette tapes with a transcript copy.
