Albert Winkler oral history interview with Myron Hatch
Talks about his experiences in World War II, including participation in liberation of a concentration camp at Dachau, Germany. Interviewed by Albert Winkler. Includes a typed transcript and an audiocassette recording of the interview. Also includes personal history excerpts and copies of photographs relating to his war experiences.
Joshua Hawkes autobiography
Photocopy of a typescript. Hawkes was born in Missouri and lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, as a small child. He later came to Utah and lived in several places. He eventaully settled in Franklin, Idaho. He participated in the Walker War against the Ute Indians and also in the Utah War against the United States Army.
John Henry Hayes autobiography
Handwritten autobiography with a photocopy of the item. The item was written as an autobiography with yearly summaries of activities. Hayes migrated to Utah in 1862 and lived in Spanish Fork, Utah, during the Black Hawk War with the Ute Indians. Hayes was a Mormon polygamist, served on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England, and lived in numerous places and had numerous occupations in Utah.

Materials contain a memoir of Hazen Randall Hillyard regarding his service in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942-1945. Discusses his artillery and officer's training. Also includes descriptions of his duties alongside the infantry in combat through Germany. Includes a photocopied photograph of Hillyard. Contains his responses to the Saints at War questionnaire. Also contains interesting information he sent home in letters to his parents. Dated approximately 2000.
