Included are stories of the Three Nephites, unseen wisperers, and attending spirits who helped faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in times of need. Project was written for an English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University during Fall semester 1987.

Included are mysterious hitchhiker stories, stories from authority figures, helpful strangers, and protective assistance that were all attributed to the assistance of the Three Nephites. Included are stories of spirits appearing in dreams, at the time of death, to give a message, in the temple, coming for a loved one, and other stories about death and near-death experiences. Included are both the jokes that Williams collected and the surveys that he used to collect the information about co-ed jokes.
