Item is a copy of a photograph of sailors on a ship taken by Andrew J. Russell between 1861 and 1865. A note on the front identifies as the ship as the Russian frigate "Osliaba" in the harbor of Alexandria, Virginia. The sailors are all gathered around and in the rigging. On the back is a stamp indicating that it was reproduced from the Library of Congress and that the call number is B8184-10222.

Item is a copy of a photograph of a train on the Potomac Creek Bridge by Andrew J. Russell. A note on the back identifies the bridge. On the back is a stamp indicating that it was reproduced from the National Archives and that the call number is 77-F-210-1-11. Dated approximately 1850-1902.
