Collection includes 400 photographs, postcards, and slides collected and created by Dillman between the 1900s and the 1970s. Images are of Native Americans, predominantly Utes.

Materials include one stereophotograph of four Ute women and girls by Savage and Ottinger. Materials dated approximately 1870.

Collection includes 98 lantern slides, some hand colored, collected by William F. Hanson. The slides include images of the Ute Indians of Colorado and Utah, scenes from Hanson's operas, and nature scenes.

Collection includes photographs of Ute Chief Ouray, his wife, Chipeta, and their home in Montrose, Colorado.
