Laws of the Netherlands
General laws promulgated from the Hague on 25 and 26 November 1616 relating to the entire United Provinces recently separated from the crown of Spain. The laws cover a wide variety of subjects including the right of lords Herman and Balthazar van Ripperda to maintain jurisdiction over the town and area of Delfzijl. Many of the materials relate to dike administration, water control, and control of sluices.

This manuscript is an outline history of the Netherlands roughly from the fifteenth to the nineteenth centuries. It was commissioned by a decree of the king of the Netherlands on December 23, 1826 and completed in 1830.
Netherlands sluice and dyke laws
Laws, ordinances, and resolutions relating to sluice and dyke administration in the Netherlands, probably written sometime during the sixteenth century. The laws are concerned with the maintenance of the dykes and sluices on the local level.
