Nellie McArthur Gubler family and friends papers, 1849-2001

Scope and Contents Series contains various family correspondence, including personal letters of the Thomas and Caroline Cottam family, and those of Casper and Agnes Gubler. These letters date from 1849 to 1930. Also contains historical family information for the McArthur, Gubler, Cottam, Jarvis, and Horsley families. The remainder of the series includes Moroni McArthur's missionary journals, family and friend photographs and scrapbooks, and oral histories recorded on tape reels and cassette tapes.

Scope and Contents Contains family history information for the McArthur, Cottam, Jarvis, Gubler, and Horsley families, as well as a small amount of information on other various Santa Clara families. A portion of this family history work, including family albums and some scrapbooks, was completed by Emma Jarvis Cottam McArthur, the mother of Nellie Gubler.

Scope and Contents Series includes several scrapbooks of awards and recognitions that Nellie has received and various personal correspondence, the bulk of which is from Emil Gubler, Dee Hughes, and Louise Dunckel. Also included are papers from the Santa Clara chapter of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, journals written by Nellie between 1925 and 1928, materials from her education at Dixie Normal School, and various printed notes and papers compiled into scrapbooks by Nellie. Materials date between 1909 and 2000.
