Scope and Contents This collection consists of photocopied diaries. The initial thirty-two pages are autobiographical and tell of the first twenty-one years of the author's life. Typescripts of excerpts from his father's letters and journal, a letter from E.W. Johnson to the Deseret News concerning its account of Johnson's death, a letter from his father concerning personal conduct. Also contains photocopies of four photographs and a list of other accounts of Johnson's death due to a coyote bite in the Mormon Colonies in Mexico.
