Handwritten and signed letter dated November 4, 1841 and addressed to Col. Aspinwall, the American Consul. Catlin requests passports for his nephew who is going to Paris, France to attempt to sell some of Catlin's work of the North American Indians.

Handwritten and signed letter, addressed to J. J. Jackson, and dated 4 Feb. 1874. Beard states, "Your favor was duly received. I comply with your request with pleasure."
