Contains biographical information on Young from published sources. Also includes a copy of a letter from John Taylor to Willard Young, September 1883, regarding the system of academies envisioned by Brigham Young which would bear his name.
Joseph Young notes
Handwritten notes and essays. "The Sacred History of Moses" is found on pages from 1 to 18. The "First Sermon" by Ezra T. Benson is found on pages from 18 to 24. Accounts and the location of members of the quorums of Seventies are found on pages 25 to 32.

Kimball Young research notes
Photocopies of research notes and drafts of chapters of the book "Isn't One Wife Enough?" The originals are housed in the Garett Theological Seminary Library. This work is considered to be the first serious study of Mormon polygamy done by a trained sociologist. In the published version of the book, Young changed the names of the characters he wrote about. But in his notes the correct names are available.
Levi Edgar Young papers
Correspondence, journals, scrapbooks, lecture materials, published and unpublished manuscripts, memorabilia, and miscellany. The materials cover a large number of topics because of Young's involvement in religion, education, government (historical societies), and professional organizations. The diaries were kept while Young was serving as a missionary for the Mormon Church in Switzerland.
