Photocopies of typed term papers entitled "Brigham Young University: The Unvarnished Reality," and "Politics and Inspiration: An Historical Analysis of the Woodruff Manifesto." The items are controversial works on the role of education in the Mormon Church and the changes in the Mormon doctrine of "plural marriage."

Scope and Contents Handwritten diaries, photograph albums, newspaper articles, mementos, programs, essays, and a doctoral dissertation. The diaries were kept by Rowe when he served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wales from 1903 to 1906. Many of the materials relate to the Cambrain Association of Utah and performances of William Shakespeare's plays.
