Harriet started writing her life story in 1948 and wrote about topics like living the United Order and life as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah. She finished her life story in 1968 by writing "A Sketch of Arthur Jolley's Life" beginning with his birth until his death Aug. 21, 1947.
