The collection contains transcripts of letters from Addison Pratt to his family, a transcript of Pratt's missionary journal from his time in Tahiti, genealogy research of Addison Pratt's family, and a rubbing of Pratt's gravestone. Dated approximately 1950.

Contains physical and digital copies of scrapbooks, photographs, ephemera, and family histories of Edgar Hague Calder and two generations of his ancestors, including his grandfather, David O. Calder, and Edgar's wife, Melba Vance Calder, and two generations of her ancestors. Also includes various books, such as an autograph book, pocketbooks, and photograph books. Dated approximately 1850 to 2005.

Scope and Contents

Transcript of interview, conducted by Don Norton, with LDS Church Patriarch, Eldred G. Smith and his wife, Hortense Child Smith. Contains various stories of the Smith family during the Restoration from Carthage to the Salt Lake Valley, and Eldred Smith's experiences as the Church Patriarch from 1947 to 1979. This interview took place February 8, 2001.

Scope and Contents Contains two DVDs of the story of Fred and Mary Helen's lives made by their son, Steven Giles, with the help of his siblings. He used a mixture of voiceover with primary source photos, oral interviews with himself and siblings, and photos of documents such as birth and wedding certificates. These DVDs are a family history of Fred and Mary Helen Giles from 1913-2013, told by Fred and Mary Helen's children. Scope and Contents

Materials include transcriptions of the journals of Ethel Johnson Lewellen. Journals contain excerpts of her financial records, daily activities, and grocery lists, and document her daily life and community events. Also includes newspaper clippings and family history materials. Collection contains compact discs with electronic transciptions of the journals; the original journals are in the donor's possession. Dated from 1935 to 1972.

Scope and Contents

Collection contains photocopies of family scrapbook items relating to Merle V. Adams' career and family life. Also includes family biographies, Merle's filmography, copies of newspaper articles that mention Adams, and information about a hidden treasure reported to be near Kanab that Adams helped look for. Dated 1934-2014.

Abstract

The Louis Oscar Brandley family histories contain an autobiography of Louis Brandley as well as typed histories of the life of his father, Johann Theodore Brandley; his mother, Margaret Keeler Brandley; and Eliza Zaugg Brandley. Also contained are two poems written by his mother.

Scope and Contents

Collection contains transcribed interviews of 93 different people conducted by the Voices of Remembrance Foundation at Dixie State College, bound in seven volumes. The interviews occurred between 1968 to 1980, and the transcriptions produced through grant funding by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies.
