George Edward Anderson diaries

Scope and Contents Handwritten diaries for the years 1895-1904, 1908-1909, 1914-1915, and 1919-1920. Anderson writes about his family life, his studio in Springville, Utah, and his travels throughout southern Utah with his tent gallery. Three of the items deal with his mission for the Mormon Church in England and describe Anderson's photographing of Mormon history landmarks in the Eastern United States.

A photocopy of a typed transcript of a letter addressed to Brigham Young by Andrus (1854) in which he gives an account of the Mormons in St. Louis, Missouri. Also included is a photocopy of a biography of Milo Andrus by Gary L. Pickell (1979). Andrus' diaries tell of experiences while a missionary in England during 1849, of crossing the plains from Nebraska...

James Bullock autobiography and diary

Also included is a diary Bullock kept from 1 to 21 Jan. 1859 while serving on a mission for the Mormon Church in England.

The diaries were kept while Carter served on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England and while he lived in St. George, Utah. The biographies are of family members.

William John Benbow Carter diary

Edwin Charles Cox poems and a diary

Scope and Contents Handwritten poems and diary. Cox kept the diary while serving on a mission for the Mormon Church in England. Also included are two volumes of poems by Cox. One contains 75 pages with an index, while the other contains 468 pages and has a preface and a contents section. The poems are about Mormon doctrines and morals.

Henry Aldous Dixon diaries

Henry Charles Eddington diaries

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a handwritten diary from 1886 to 1888 when Eddington was serving as a missionary for the Mormon Church in the Southern States of the United States and in England. He was transferred from the Southern States to England because of hostile activities against the Mormon missionaries. Also included is a typescript of a diary kept by Eddington from September to December in 1879. He writes about the weather while passing through various communities in Utah.
