Madoline Cloward Dixon papers

Scope and Contents Handwritten research papers composed by Dixon's students. The papers were written by her students after interviewing persons who settled in and around Payson. Also included are essays by Aurora Wilson relating to Payson, copies of handwritten newspapers called "The Philomatheon Literary Gazette," and a record of hours spend by various persons to build the wall around Payson in 1855.

He moved to California where he worked as a salesman and as a businessman. He gives many details relating to his early life and to his business activities.
