Mary Ann Burnham Freeze diaries

Scope and Contents Handwritten diaries, a letter, and a notebook. Freeze writes about her life in Salt Lake City and in Logan, Utah. She served as a member of the General Board of the Mutual Improvement Association of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She writes about her various activities and comments on such issues as polygamy.

Much of the correspondence is to congratulate Reeder on her accomplishments.

Silver City Ward minute book

Scope and Contents Minute book documents the beginning of a Young Ladies M.I.A. program in Silver City. The names of Stake leadership who spoke at each meeting, and the comments they made, were recorded. The journal is kept in a black hardback book, 8 by 10.5 inches, handwritten on lined paper, and is one hundred seventy-three pages in length.

Young Women's Mutual Improvement Association meeting minutes

Scope and Contents Photocopy of handwritten meeting minutes and a list. The minutes were taken at a meeting held on 3 May 1881 to organize the association in the Provo First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The item lists members, and the secretary, Pauline E. Hardy, also records her testimony of the Mormon faith.
