The ancestral lineage of Elias Willis Howell, Fairview, Utah
Traces seven generations of Elias W. Howell's paternal ancestry. Includes maps, pictures, and other copied documents. Elias's parents joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New York, 1841-42. Elias crossed the plains to Utah in 1852 and settled in North Bend (subsequently named Fairview) in 1860.
Louise Hofmann Andersen temple record book
Handwritten notations on printed forms in a "Temple Record" book. The entries record the work performed for members of the Hofmann, Reinhold, Lang, and Armbruster families by proxy in Mormon temples.

Copies of the "Signal Fire" publication, photocopy of a map of Utah dating from 1878, letters, and magazine articles. The materials relate to Anderson's work as an editor and to his work with the Boy Scouts, especially the "Loan Scouts." This group of scouts would write to boys in rural areas to help them to have scouting contacts.
Ellen Hanson Anderson biography
Photocopy of a typed biography of Ellen Hanson Anderson, who crossed the plains to Utah in 1855 and settled in Mount Pleasant.
Biography of Emil Anderson and his wives
Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. Emil Anderson was born in Denmark in 1845. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah in 1866. He settled in American Fork and died in 1906. Caroline Sophia Anderson, who had the same surname as her husband, was born in 1848 in Denmark. She died in 1897. Ella Kirstina Jensen was born in Denmark in 1869 and came to Utah in 1901. She met Emil in 1903, and they were married later.
H. Reese Anderson diary
Account of his family affairs and daily life in Bountiful, Utah. Also records visits with friends and short trips with his wife, Ruth, to various places, including Moab, Capitol Reef National Park, and Lake Powell, Utah; and Jackson Hole, Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Writes briefly of attending meetings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Last entry, written by an unidentified person, reports Anderson's death.

The correspondence is between Anderson , his family, friends, and leaders of the Mormon Church. Many of the items deal with personal and family matters. The diaries are in six volumes and include genealogical items. The newspaper clippings relate to Anderson and his family.
Miles Anderson papers
This collection contains 2 diaries covering briefly related experiences and financial dealings of Anderson during the period of 1842-1856, from Nauvoo to the Utah Territory. Also includes patriarchal blessings given by Hyrum Smith and John Smith, as well as other documents and correspondence. Two diaries, family correspondence, patriarchal blessings, family land deeds, Nauvoo Legion Certificate, and War of 1812 pension certificate.
O. J. Anderson and family
Photocopy of a typewritten biography of Olaf J. Anderson, including information about his two wives Kathinka and Nathalia and several of their children. She presents the history of the family's "Anderson Hotel" in Castle Dale, Utah and Olaf's and Kathinka's mission for the Mormon Church in Copenhagen, Denmark where he edited the Mormon newspaper, "Scandinavian Star," 1908-1912.
