John A. Whyte photographs of The Southern Hotel in Richfield, Utah
Contains four mounted photographs of The Southern Hotel in Richfield, Utah. Photographs document the alterations made to the hotel. Two of the photographs have the exterior of the hotel as their main subject, while the others focus on the interior of the hotel. Photograph mounts are stamped "Whyte, Richfield, Utah." Dated between approximately 1908 and 1911.
Mary Wihongi autobiography
A handwritten autobiography. Born of a Scottish father and Maori mother, Wihongi relates interesting cultural experiences from her childhood. She comments on her education, marriage, and family. She tells of her conversion to the Mormon faith and of her church activities.
William Wilbur letters received
Handwritten letters received by Wilber. The items were written by family members. The relatives write about family matters and express regret that Wilber's child had recently died. The materials also refer to pending military action to drive the Mormons from Nauvoo, Illinois.

Ms. contains a legal document, a one year lease of land in Yorkshire, England, between Robert Watson and Francis Wilkinson.
J. J. Wilkinson and Robert Ritchie correspondence
Handwritten and signed letter, addressed to Robert Ritchie, notary public, in Frederick, Maryland, dated 5 July 1821, and composed in St. Louis, Missouri. Wilkinson states that "Doctor" A. Nelson repay a loan of $200. Also included is a letter from Robert Ritchie, dated 6 Sept. 1821, stating that he went to John Nelson to receive the payment of $200. Nelson reported that he did not have that amount of money.
Manuel Lisa will
Handwritten last will and testament, dated 5 Sept. 1821, and composed in St. Louis, Missouri. Also included is an indenture of Manuel's wife, Mary Lisa, after the death of her husband to receive funds borrowed by the Missouri Fur Company.
The Willard family : Josiah Willard's descendants
Typewritten genealogy. The item traces the descendants of Josiah Willard (1635-1674) and Simon Willard (1605-1676) for four generations. The families largely lived in New England at that time. The information in this item was taken from the "Willard Genealogy" published in 1915 and was revised by Stephen F. Willard in 1962.
