Madoline Cloward Dixon papers

Scope and Contents Handwritten research papers composed by Dixon's students. The papers were written by her students after interviewing persons who settled in and around Payson. Also included are essays by Aurora Wilson relating to Payson, copies of handwritten newspapers called "The Philomatheon Literary Gazette," and a record of hours spend by various persons to build the wall around Payson in 1855.

Lincoln Junior High School collection of oral history interviews

Scope and Contents Includes 51 reel-to-reel tapes containing interviews of local Utah government officials and other important community members; the interviews were conducted by the students of Lincoln Junior High School in Orem, Utah as part of an oral history project under the instruction of David A. Squires during the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Scope and Contents Photocopied photographs of old buidings in Tooele, Utah. Also included are materials relating to Tooele High School. They include: "Tooele High School Songs" and "The Development of our High School" by Marguerite Rice and Elise England Easterman. Rice and Easterman were members of the class of 1914, the first class to graduate from Tooele High School. Also with the collection is a photocopy of a newspaper article describing how Tooele High School got its mascot of a white buffalo.
