Scope and Contents Typewritten biography of Justus Wellington Seeley. Seeley was born in Salt Lake City, Utah; moved to San Bernardino, California; saw human bones at the site of the Mountain Meadows Massacre on the way back to Utah; lived several places in Utah; stood guard during the Black Hawk War against the Ute Indians; and eventually settled in Castle Dale, Utah.

Also includes material pertaining to Joseph B. Keeler, grandfather of Ellen Keeler Thompson. Dated 1847-1990.

Diane Monson collection of Monson family history

Abstract The collection contains six documents. The first two are histories of the life of Weldon Parkinson Monson by his daughter, Diane Monson, called "A tribute to my father's life", and "My Father, Weldon Parkinson Monson." Also included are two articles on Mormonism relating to Weldon Monson. Diane Monson also included her writing entitled "My Mother, Erma Jergensen Monson." The last is a photociped "Recollection of his mission" written by Weldon W. Monson.

Oral history interview with Wanda Whatcott Johnson

Abstract This is the personal history of Wanda Whatcott Johnson which was created from an oral history interview conducted by Don Norton in 1980. Later, the family created this 188 page manuscript and a copy was given to Norton in 1987. Norton states in his letter that this history’s value is in that it shows Johnson, who was mostly deaf, learning to read lips and impressing hearing specialists.
