Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typescript of an interview. Dunn was interviewed by Mary A. Hicks in 1937 as part of the Federal Writer's Project for the Works Progress Administration. The item includes handwritten corrections. She describes the master's house and the slave cabins on the plantation. She gives both her own and her master's reaction to the Yankee invasion. She also gives a heartfelt account of her courtship and marriage to her late husband, Jim Dunn.
