Scope and Contents Handwritten record of items purchased by the Deseret News in Fillmore, Utah at the store of Samuel Pierce Hoyt (1807-1889). Also included is a list of persons paid by the Deseret News for work completed. Some of the entries are believed to have been written by George Q. Cannon, the Mormon apostle.

The materials document the policies, functions, finances, activities, students, and curriculum of the institution.

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a typewritten list. This list indicates all the choir members at the time of the dedication of the Old Tabernacle in 1867. The tabernacle was dedicated by President John Taylor. The asterisks on the list indicate members who were still alive in 1926 when the list was compiled.
