Scope and Contents Scrapbook with newspaper clippings pasted into it. The materials were taken from various newspapers in the United States and relate to the motion picture industry.

Scope and Contents Collection consists of an artist notebook and art journal, scrapbook, along with various loose papers. Ottinger's art journal is full of hand written instructions on colors he mixed to achieve multiple shades used for many of his paintings. Approximately half of the scrapbook is empty and contains magazine articles Ottinger wrote for The Juvenile Instructor, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' youth magazine, entitled "America,” which are glued into the scrapbook.
